Relationship Counselling
Navigating challenges together
Relationships - romantic, platonic, or within families - can fall into repeating patterns. You might notice the same arguments happening again and again, long periods of silence, or a growing sense of distance, even when you care about each other. This can leave you feeling confused, lonely, or unsure of what to do next.
Relationship Counselling (a.k.a. Couples Therapy, Marriage Counselling or Friendship Counselling) offers a calm and structured space to look at these patterns together. You can attend as an individual or couple. I can help you understand what is happening and why, by looking at your communication, emotions, and personal histories.
Together, we can find new, clearer ways for you to connect and support one another.
Through counselling, you can:
- Gain insight into the patterns that keep you feeling stuck
- Understand how your individual histories and family influences shape your
relationship today - Develop new ways of effective communication
- Strengthen trust, closeness, and emotional safety
Clients often bring themes such as:
- Communication breakdowns
- Recurring conflicts or unresolved tension
- Trust issues, betrayals, or affairs
- The impact of family of origin and intergenerational patterns
- Loneliness
- Emotional distance, loss of closeness, or disconnection
- Neurodivergent (e.g. Autism)
- LGBTQI+
